That'll be an amazing interview considering Tubridy's in depth knowledge of the soccer ball.

Expect lots and lots of questions about death threats, sectarianism and misery. Oh joy. :(

The All Ireland Football winners Donegal will make an appearance, apparently.

This is one of the reasons that the LLS is past it's sell-by-date.

    Shyte like this.

Anyone that wants to see these guys will have already seen them, what's the craic with dragging them all the way from Donegal? Rubbish.

Presumably because Dublin were on it last year, and they have now started a pointless tradition.

Also confirmed for tonight's show, the UK's favourite painters-and-decorators-turned-vocal-harmony-group, The Overtones!

And from Daithi O Se's twitter...

Steve Cooney, Dermort Byrne and co on the late late show tonight and in Vicar st on sunday night, looking forward to that!

"So Neil, can you tell us what it was like as a Catholic growing up in Northern Ireland?"

    Followed by:

"How important are the crowd every week?"

    And

"Did you always have a strong affinity for Celtic?"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,590 ✭✭✭✭kneemos

If it wasn't for the internet nobody would watch the thing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 470 ✭✭17larsson

If it wasn't for this thread I would never watch it but the slagging is brilliant!

After last week though I just can't go through with it again so I'm just going to read through this tomorrow without having to endure the actual show.

For those who are braver and bolder than me, I salute you. You risk your sanity and your joy for the new weekend ahead by turning on RTE1 to document Tubridys failings and the general stiffness of the LLS just so we can laugh at your comments.

I'll have a drink for you, good luck. Hope you make it to the other side

I suppose its only fair to have the All Ireland Football Champions on after last years appearance by the Dubs.

1.4 million people tuned in to RTÉ to watch them win the biggest prize in Irish sport. I'm sure next week the LLS will have some retired fat rugby player on to flog some paperback "autobiography". Maybe even tonight they will have a journeyman soccer player on!

I'd take John Hayes talking about his book anyday over the Donegal football team.

I adore the Donegal accent :) I'd love if one of the lads said 'sit-ee-ation' :D

Speaking of Donegal people, where is Aoife9??? She is probably still celebrating :pac::pac::pac:

I hate when tubs interviews people with any connection to sport, he clearly knows nothing about sport i just cringe when he interviews sports people remember him interviewing sugar ray leonard and asking him about the kardashians ffs one of the ATG boxers and thats his question

He was on with Tubs last year and at that stage he was on a waiting list for surgery. I really like him in the Restaurant and I really hope he makes a great recovery.

I wonder have the 'researchers' concluded that the LLS isn't complete until there is a serious health issued discussed in graphic detail.
