To get us in All-Ireland mood, thought I'd round up GAA anthems by County. If someone beats you to your County, tough titty, :Dunless you dispute their song choice or version.

Dublin - Molly Malone (I've also heard people saying Dirty Old Town, but I think that song is more in reference to Manchester than Dublin)

Wicklow (father's county) - Among The Wicklow Hills

Wexford (grandparents' county) - Boolavogue or Dancing At The Crossroads

Other ancestral counties that I'm not sure of their songs would be: Monaghan, Antrim and Mayo...

This could be Donegal's anthem after this week along with Jimmys winning matches

Wexford would win hands down though when it comes to GAA songs

    One from my own county.

Will we see Galway singing this on Sunday? A classic GAA moment

Re Dublin - Rare Auld times is such a cracking song amazed its not used more.

Antrim song is the Green Glens of Antrim

Mayo AFAIK is Moonlight on Mayo

Had a CD with every counties anthem on it years ago used with intro by Michéal o Muirathertaigh (Sp?) - must see can I find it as I haven't a breeze as to Monaghan's song and I don't think they have the internet up there yet :D

Louth, sung by the late Dermot O'Brien who captained Louth to victory of the 1957 football final. As a matter of interest Kerry were knocked that year in the first round by Waterford. The game was played in Walsh Park, Waterford.

I must admit that ive shamefully sung (chanted the chorus to be accurate) this at Ireland games. However, it is kind of sad that this was once primarily a GAA anthem used by Galway and Athenry teams. Rarely going to used again, as every team uses it nowadays. The Munster/Celtic/Liverpool connection is the most annoying, given that there's basically none at all. Also get to blame them for turning the song from a lovely ballad to a chant of the chorus only. Nobody even knows the verses anymore, which is kind of ironic when you've Celtic using it as a rebel song and the verses are the most important connection to that
