Bit daunting for a man I might think but Amazon is a great place for you to start (you probably have an account already).
If you can't find what you have in mind on there (impossible though I'd say!) take a trawl through the sites I've listed in my post.

You say ankle boots but have you got any occassion in mind - birthday/anniversary/night out or just everyday boots for work/for walking round town in?

If it's an everyday boot I'd recommend Fly London - super comfy, real leather and they look expensive too. Their boots are around €150 (ish) but cost-per-wear and all that
