What is the ISO? An operating system or a game? If you need to boot off the disc (i.e: to install an OS) burning to a DVD-/+R/DVD+R DL would be handiest. Some machines support booting from a USB drive (although you must make the USB Key bootable first).
If you just need to install something just copying the contents to the USB drive should work ok, unless it is copy protected

InfraRecorder (free and open sauce) will do that for you. (Action > Burn Image > navigate to the CD image (ISO) > select the DVD recorder)

    It's a game and the file is 5.7gb :O

You could try putting the ISO on a USB stick, then mount it as a virtual optical drive with PowerISO etc, but you'd have to format it NTFS, as its > 4GB. This may not be straightforward, might need a third-party tool.

edit: Or if your drive does them, a dual layer DVDR.

A dual layer DVD (8.5GB) is the answer.

Mount is with something like Power ISO. This makes a virtual drive and will be able to install it then. The virtual disc will appear in my computer. Its your only option or a dual layer dvd.

Why pay 30 Dollar if you can have it for free? WinCDEmu is open sauce software.

I've been mounting images with PowerISO for ages for free, I think you only need to pay if you want to create an ISO.

edit:300MB limit for edit/create until you register.

I've been using this for year and never any hassle or problems and it's free as well.

    +1 for Daemon Tools.

As for the DVD size, it's that big to prevent piracy.

Here is a handy little program for large files and no need to install.
It splits and combines large files.

Splitting disc images can sometimes break the file structure of them, I would also advise against doing so.
