Send it over to the UK.
They'll put it to good use when they catch up with the maths teacher on the run with the 15 year old.

I spend all day working with things that bite, crush, squash and chew - this is a tiddler, but it's fun and the sound when it chomps things is lovely. Next one will be triple the size - that should have a nice crunch to it. Pretty safe actually - no spinning blade, nice slow cut and only really one moving part. A skil saw would be infinitly more dangerous.

I discovered this evening that it also makes mincemeat of scrap tyres! Chops them up in seconds. :)

Yeah, - me!:D Was fun finding out what exactly it would chop though. 2" angle iron - doddle. 4*2 wood -doddle. Tyres - doddle. 2" 3.5mm wall box iron - doddle. I'm going to make the next(MK2:D) with much bigger jaws and proper cutting edges(I got ones intended for a steel microcrop) and a ram with a longer stroke. I also got a load of 25mm hardox to make the "sharp end" out of. Could be fun! I've also only been operating it with the engine on half revs as it's a bit too strong on full tilt. I'm getting an awful slagging at work for dropping the lump of wood at the start though - that was stage fright!

Using this to chop up waste pallets - nails have no effect and it reduces one to a pile of firewood in no time with no saws or nail bars etc. Can fill a big barrel with 10" sticks in minutes. Very handy actually and it uses very little diesel(havn't actually ever topped it up since i filled it), the engines a Robin and starts first pull every time. Much easier started than the Yanmars.
