Just wondering how many classics actually find a new home - I see a lot of 'familiar faces' popping up on DD after a 'holiday'
Chap said to me one time 'Paper never refused ink' , meaning there's no prob. advertising, but selling is another ;)

Also see a lot of 'individual' cars popping up - like a matt purple *****, now let's say the owner of that car had 'history' of some sort with the law/girlfriend/drug lords, if you buy that car you could become an innocent target  Remember my special paint finish on a car, had to respray it the original colour for that reason - too many people didn't want someone else's 'individual' motor :(
Don't understand how they couldn't like pink with blue alloys:p:p:p

I find that there are lotd of !Hits ! but very few genuine calls, very few silly calls either, there is the odd buyer out there. They are nearly as scarce as hens teeth!!

That car (if I'm thinking of the same one) looks like trouble.

If we're on the same line - those V8's had 'issues' as well as the color

Ya shoulda gone for that 196* 'Universal' Matt, coulda given away all the 123's and retired on the profit from the Universal !! ;);)

( Had my mother's Lancer 97A/T 60k on DD for c.600, woman phoned up looking for it for 400 or no deal - I'd prefer it to RIP than give it away :mad::mad: )

is this a particular v8 car with a 3 tone vinal/sticker on the front off side ??

local lad has he exact same car except white, his never got the v8 bother but i agree, sometimes " peacocking " gets you alot more attention then you'd like.
