SkyGo on iMac

    Hi everyone,

Mod feel free to move if in wrong place...

I am considering getting an iMac 21.5". We already have Sky on 4 TV's in the house. Only one has a sky+ box.

I have a TV in my bedroom but it's tiny and old and takes up space on my desk. I am thinking of getting rid of it and replacing the space with a new iMac and was hoping to have computer and TV in one.

SkyGo is free to me as a Sky customer but my question is:

Is it only pre-played programmes that I can watched or can I watch as if I were watching the TV, more or less can I watch in real-time (live) tv?

    Thanks for any help.

You can watch some channels live but the selection of channels are limited, especially if you are not a Sky Sports or Sky Movies subscriber

Is there anywhere I can see a list of channels that I would be able to see? Like would I get any of the RTE's? TV3, BBC'S, SKY 1, CBS?

You can see the list here though I think then it depends what channels you subscribe to.

Also, some programmes are not shown on Sky Go. I couldn't watch the Simpsons on Sky One for example.
