I am looking to build an extension of 20m2 so don't need planning permition however , the boundary wall between my house and next door is badly damaged , it was built by Dublin corpo and is in a bad way, it has crack and wobbles when touched. I'm afraid to start building as it will collapse and fall.. It runs about 50 ft long and 7ft high .. I have reported it to Dublin city council but have heard nothing back .. Also my neighbour has reported it too as she has a few kids it really is a falling hazard to them!

Question is , Because it was built by Dublin corpo is it up to them to repair ??

Who owns the houses (i.e. yours and your neighbours)? Does DCC own the houses?

If the above is the case and the property is owned by DCC, get Health & Safety involved now and explain when this was reported from both sides, they'll take it from there before someone gets killed.
