Hi all, does anyone have a recommendation for the cheapest site to get around 1000 pictures printed. I have tried foto.ie and for some reason its not working too well for me and I am getting annoyed at it. Have also tried snapfish but it will cost about 130e which is a bit more than I would like to spend. Any others?
    Thanks

    +1 on photobox.

Great if you want all your snaps printed on the same size prints. If you want a mix of prints of different sizes/finishes then it will be much easier to upload them in separate groups to separate albums . Uploading them all in one go & then selecting different sizes/finishes afterwards is a real pain as their website just isnt set up for it.

harvey normans do offers most of the time - generally you can get 100 6x4's for about €10-€11 if you catch the offer. they're not masterpieces but functionally ok....

That looks really good pricing. And a sign up offer of 1200 free (over a number of months) makes it very tempting.

    Is the quality reasonable?

€130 is still really cheap for ONE THOUSAND photos.

Photobox without a doubt. I just, as an experiment, added 1000 6x4" prints to my basket. Print price was €60 and €14 postage so €74 in total. And photobox quality is the best of any of the online print services that I've tried.

you asking me ? or the OP ? In my case it was the same one printed 1000 times. I don't think photobox care, as long as you order over 500 prints I think the unit price per print is 6 cents.

Went with Photobox in the end. It was a first time order so also got 30% off. Order total was €62 inc postage for 993 6*4 and 7 12*5, got 50 free prints too and €6.50 back off Fatcheese!
Checked Artscow too, was working out at about 125e inc deliverly and the free prints

Thanks for the recommendation, never came across Photobox in my search!

i was wondering if it'd be cheaper if you stack each image into a 2 x 2 of the image, and go for 250 12 x 8s, and borrow a guillotine to cut them.

The smaller formats are almost invariably much less expensive. Going with your plan above would have resulted in a bill of €409.09

just to annoy them, i'd stack them all into one image, 6 inches wide and 4000 inches long, and have them printed like that.

I have printed photo's using Snapfish.com (change from the irish site to the US site) and it worked out cheaper that ordering them from Snapfish.ie.

check out the offers page on the site and you might get a few % off.

Even with postage from the US it still worked out cheaper to get a load of 6x4 shots than using the Irish site.
