Not where they were made but the country of origin of the shop you bought them in or their label?

My jeans are german, the belt and underpants are spanish, the tee-shirt and jumper are british and my socks are irish. I was expecting more british and no irish.

Yep, thinly veiled "I have clothes" thread. :pac:

Penny's are fantastic. They come off the same conveyor belt as the brands that will charge you mad money.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 34,567 ✭✭✭✭Biggins

I like some French made clothes and well as other Europe garments.
I side with more practicability over looks/current fashion.

I only buy clothes that are made in sweatshops by children.
Having the fear that your whole family will be murdered really dose ensure you are buying clothes of the highest quality, I also find that childrens smaller hands are better at stitching.

    I am a bad man.

I go to America once a year to shop. I buy all my clothes there, apart from the odd new knickers and socks. I pick up the odd new top here in Ireland if I feel I really have nothing to wear but instantly feel ripped-off.

My underpants are from a wee indie label before it went mainstream and everyone suddenly wanted a piece of them, spawning a slave market / industry in the furore over my drawers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,171 ✭✭✭af_thefragile

Oh I weave, design and sew all my clothes.

I'm just indie and hip like that...like... follow my own fashion, be individual, not conform and all that...like...

How do you do that? unless of course you shop in the clothing equivalent of the gaeltacht? :)

I guess you deliberately hunt for Irish clothes?

Ha ha, it wasn't thinly veined at all! I said it quite clearly in the first sentence!

But on the cost thing, I don't go just for the shopping, there are also some seriously interesting places to visit. I do the touristy things and shop in the evening or whenever. Best of both worlds.
