EB license and 6 months wait

    Hi,

    Have had my full B license for many many years and due to recent events I figured it would be a good time to add an E added to it to legally tow heavy trailers.

    I just got my learner permit for EB today thinking I'd book a test immediately and have it over and done with. On the permit I have a 6 month wait before being able to take the test though.
    I remember hearing that this was abolished recently if you've had your license for a long time? Did they maybe make a mistake on my permit or do I have to wait the 6 months to sit the test?

    Yes they made a mistake. The RSA abolished the 6 month wait for the EB test. Read down the bottom of the link:
