the folks have a TV with sky freeview box and dish. They want to attach a saorview box, but theres not enough scart plugs. the tv is an old analogue one, and they don't want to get a new TV as well...any ideas? would a combi box work? or should I just tell them to get a new TV?? thanks

There is no such thing as Sky freeview. Freeview is UK DTT; Freesat is UK FTA satellite; Freesatfromsky is UK FTV satellite.Think you probably mean the latter. Regarding your query could you not get a scart selector (multiple scart inputs) and attach it to the TV?

It's more than likely just an out of sub. Sky box, not Free-anything in particular.

If it is actually a Sky box, the OP's folks could also use the RF output, if they don't mind the drop in picture quality, of course.

Have a look and see if there is a yellow round connector like this:

You can then get a scart to composite lead from any TV shop.
