Just googled itand it's malin to mizen.
found an intersting blog about someones attempt before.
Her half marathon pb is 1hour 40mins

To me it looks like she runs distances other dont dare run.

The Record was broken covering a distance of 403.81 miles. The World Record has now been verified by the Guinness World Records.
I broke my toe on the first day of the record causing my feet to swell by two shoe sizes!

I dont realy understand this post. Is it a criticisim of the record this person has set ? is her half marathon pb of any relevance?What does the icon donate? Not being arguementative just want to know where your coming from as usualy your posts are very clear but this one (to me) is obtuse.

For a point to point ultra like this with massive logistics you will always have small numbers but it is hard to find actual numbers as until recently there was no one body registering everyone.

Guiness award the record for LeJog (lands end to john o'groats) and only recently started awarding one for Malin to Mizen.

This has been done as a relay as well by one of the Dublin running clubs and the cyclists attempt this on a regular basis.

There are a few doing M2M every year, but of course not everyone tries to break the record. But there are a couple serious attempts at setting a new record every year, the previous one was only set in March (but there's more than one record - you have male/female, northbound/southbound, that's 4 combinations already).

Mimi Anderson's is the fastest time of them all, though. That's a truly savage achievement.

Double Badwater. on her CV. Savage race to do on its own without turning around and running back to the start :eek:

Major congratulations to her. This M2M record will be hard to beat.

Didn't really follow it other than a few posts that popped up on facebook. Was she running through the night and not taking long rests? or what way did she do it?
