Who in Ireland will quote for a carvan for private use only? Don't want commercial insurance but none will quote as they see it only as a van.

    Any ideas?

My brother had a Renault Megavan and I'm sure he had it insured with Axa.

Honestly didn't know it was possible to insure a caravan. Next people will be insuring those little trailers from Halfrauds

I don't think you read the OP post precisely, but anyway if you already said that, then notice that on the Continent in nearly every country caravans and trailers must get their own numberplate, reg. cert and insurance.
PS. And yes - that includes even those small trailers from halfords.
