    Recap of last weeks happenings:
    Punk924AI.jpg

And you thought CM Punk was mad before? No, no, no, that was a warm-up, a preview, an aperitif, if you will, of the fury that’s sure to spew forth from The Second City Saint following his controversial defeat at the hands of John Cena last week on Raw. In case you’ve forgotten, The Straight Edge Superstar was pinned by the Cenation leader despite the fact that Punk had his foot on the ropes, a seemingly egregious oversight by the referee who officiated the contest. As Raw went off the air, Punk was berating the ref all the way back to the locker room on TV and WWE.com (WATCH), and speculation has been running rampant as to how the WWE Champion will respond to the controversy this week.

Oh also, Kane & Daniel Bryan will be in the house. Admit it, you’re excited. Here are five things to look forward to on Raw.

    Other things:

    • PrimeTime Players aren't happy
    • Team Friendship aren't happy either
    • Ryback will disrupt another MizTV?
    • Who will be the ref who punk will have a go at this week?

I think this pretty much confirms there's an angle coming out of this somewhere, not necessarily beginning tonight, but I somehow doubt they'd be going for the sympathy vote on such a gratuitous note otherwise.

How many times am I going to see Ziggler/Kingston in my life?

If Ziggler loses here I hope someone gets the brief case off him at Hell and a Cell.

Totally agree. They say it went on for 15 minutes so whether this was at the beginning or after a while it seems creepy.

If you look at it this way they are showing the pictures as a tribute to the doctor and medical staff that saved The Kings life.

But how did they know at that point if he would pull through?

They didn't,I would imagine that was damage control from Vince, film and photo proof that the King was being looked after medically, I would imagine he has similar video and images of the aftermath of Owen Hart/Droz plus look at the don't try this at home clips, they often show Wrestlers in compromised positions.

Getting back to the start of Raw, didn't anyone else think that ref lad is a bit too built to be a ref? Anyone know his face?

Nice to see some consistency from the WWE, Barrett announced as being from Preston, England, two minutes later on commentary "Barrett, from Manchester, England..."

Presumably they dont think US fans will know the difference or care once you mention somewhere foreign (except in Sheamus' case where they feel the need to give his street address)

Thankful I'm not the only one who noticed this. Lets hope they don't sign a wrestler from Derry

I think it was reported recently that HHH wanted to revamp the tag team division and make it appear important again. Good move considering the extra hour they have to fill now.

Kofi to turn heel over annoyance of Truth being occupied by little Jimmy? It also might give Kofi some edge to his character which is really needed.
