Yeah Cork city is pretty bad for left wing / republican flypostering.

The place is plastered with "Free marian price" "free michael Campbell" "end POW interrment" type crap.
A lot of it seems to be eminating from Solidarity Books. Whats the story with this crowd? They seem to back every far left movement going.

That was all I could think of too but why the hell are they opposed to that? Its def socialist crowd as recognise the posters from a previous campaign. I must read properly tomorrow, no way they can be for children's referendum (then again they do pride themselves on opposing everything so who knows! )

Probably because by law both sides of a referendum are guaranteed 50% of airtime and publicity, etc. As all main political parties will be for it, someone will get a lot of airtime simply by being in the against camp. Should bring out all the wierdos...

When he's finished, maybe he'll go around and remove all the posters.

I haven't been around the Southside in the last few days, so I don't know about the "litter problem", but Boyd Barrett is probably worth a listen to tomorrow.

    Who?
You know who. People Before Profit.
    Stupid question deserves stupid answer.
The place is plastered with .......... type crap.

It's usually anti-household charge posters, ad's for public meetings, anti-austerity, burn the bondholders etc. Pretty reasonable stuff really given the state of the nation.

Unless you're from the south side I guess and are "struggling" to pay for an expensive lifestyle. Then it's just annoying....

As opposed to the bunch of morons waving the "let's vote for everything Europe & IBEC tells us to vote for" banner. Forgot who sank the nation already?

Say, how many people will vote for the "children's referendum" based on an assumption that it keeps kids safe. I mean, children's rights sounds great.... great name.... "the rights of the State over your children" referendum doesn't have quite the same ring, though it might better describe the text.

Ah now that's very clever isn't it?!! Those cute hoor's, with idea's opposed to those directed by the power elite of the day, getting airtime. Pure opportunism.

Is that why FG pretty much always support the same nonsense as FF & Labour? You know, so Kenny can do his run and hide act. Heaven forbid he might have to answer a question without a teleprompter.
