In terms of the Irish I know Rob Heffernan was a sub 20minute 4miler Junior.

Id say if he trained for it properly ie dropped the walking for a year he would go sub 2.20
People will argue the point it's differn't muscle groups when walking but if he gave himself a year, with his engine I think he could.

Colin Griffin ran 72.44 in Cherleville today in the half and will run Dublin.Any predictions?

I often thought about this. Considering how damn fast they "walk" I think it's only logical to assume that they would run faster. Can't walkers complete 20 k in about 1 hr 20 mins? With even 20 percent of that distance running (80 percent walking) they would probably do 20 k in 1 hr 5/10 mins. So, surely the top walkers could go sub 2:20
