quick advise on external supply pipe

My footing being done today and block layer question the use of 6inch wavin as my air supply for the room sealed stoves i am fitting. Just questioning if there be heat get to it and melt it. I am aware it should be ok but lookin for advise to be sure. He need to fit it under chimney breast so need to fit 2mrw.

On my stove the wavin stops just below the heart where it is connected to the stove with a flexible pipe. I think this is the norm. Hope this helps.
