I have an interview with a big pharmaceutical company as a graduate, I would like to know when they ask me what questions do I have for them, what would be an intelligent question to ask.

    Thanks

Entirely depends on what sort of job and what you want to do with your life. It's always good to check their website and the news, ask something about them expanding or the new drug they are bringing out or if you have a personal interest in a specific area of research, do they plan on doing that. You could ask about career possibilities ("do you mostly hire from within?"), or possibility of being cross trained in different departments, or doing a year abroad in one of their subsidiaries,

You could ask what is the typical career trajectory of other graduates they have taken on.

If there any exams that would help you out, do they sponsor these exams? Although im not so sure this really applies to pharmaceutical cos.
You could ask about the team structure and who youd be reporting to if you got the job. If theres formal or informal inhouse training.

I would say they would ask questions about what you understand about the pharma industry in Ireland, what you know about this particular pharma company, why you want to work with them over another pharma company, what qualities you can bring to the company. Also prob a good bit about the job you are applying for, what you understand it entails, why you applied for it, also where you see yourself in 5 years etc.
Do let us know what they asked as I'd be interested!

You could also ask if they have any formal personal development plans?

Oh - I'm sorry I misread, I thought you wanted to know what they'd ask you!
More information about the job itself is usually best, like how many people would be on the team you'd be working with, what is the management style, what is the career progression like.
