Dell XPS vs Optiplex BTX and case connectors

I know the Opti 755 and XPS 720 are both BTX, but one thing I'm not sure of - is the wiring the same? As in, the power connector from the front of the optiplex case is propitiatory and only works with that motherboard, any chance the XPS would be the same or restricted to boards manufactured for that line? Not sure where…

Basically have the chance to get a very cheap XPS 720 case/psu, and if I could transfer my Optiplex innards into it, would be swell.
