......sorry bout the title. Should read (but don't mind Mayo fans there lol)

Am going to Croker myself but have a lot of unlucky friends just going to Dublin to watch the match in a pub.

So, for Donegal fans, what's the best pub to go to? Plenty of big screens, beer quality, snacks available and so on is important seeing as they are going to be there for at least 5 hours. And if the craic is good, could be a bus load going after the match to celebrate/cry.

    Thanks

    J

    UP DONEGAL

Was there after the semi to watch the end of the Liverpool match. Think will be a damn good spot for GAA. And the Guinnes was feckin lovely :)

That is where I go. I'm a Dublin GAA Supporter so i'll probably be in their for the Minor. I advise you to get in early or else you won't get a decent seat

Well, could swap seats lol. Might be there before the seniors to watch a bit of Liverpool v Utd but would hardly think that'll be on tv in there lol. Anyway, best of luck on Sunday and thanks for the suggestion

Well done mate, Donegal are All Ireland champions. I remember last year when we won, I went on the piss for 3 straight days, Didn't sleep until Wednesday afternoon.

That's a great spot, I used to always go there before matches when I lived in Dublin

You know what. It's a good spot on a match day but not really the best place for a normal night out. The area is not great to be hanging around at night and the crowd is not the most hospitable at times.

I recommend it for a match but not for an every day night out pub.

There is another spot in Dublin with a more friendly and relaxed atmosphere to watch sport.

The Living Room just off O'Connell Street on the corner of Cathal Brugha St.

Ended up in The Hill after the match - tried Quinns and the Big Tree but couldnt get within a mile of the bar lol. Had a handful of really nice pints - didnt want to go too mad cos no way was gonna sit on a bus for four and a half hours bursting for a pee lol.

I would have been gone out of it at that stage. Left after that last Donegal point to avoid the post match rush.
