Doonbeg looks a great course on Golfgraffix. Looked it up.

Is it any good - gets mixed reviews ?

It definitely looks like Doonbeg and I recognize the shape of the green and surrounds set against the backdrop of the sand hills in the background.

What gave me second thoughts was the apparent age of the wooden seats that look years old in the foreground and the foreshortening of the par five hole by the camera.

Well worth a visit and just about an hour from Limerick, societies are getting good deals now compared to the Celtic Tiger Era.

Don't think there is any doubt. The house is very clear in fly by.

They would be looking for the aged look and wood or anything will age by the sea quick.

A bit like the Americans who have been duped by the marketing and would say things like,

"I gotta play those old classic links courses like Ballybunion, Waterville, Lahinch and Old Head".
