Tips and tricks for preplanning/healthy eating lifestyle

Ok, so this is prompted from a couple of pictures I saw posted by Tom Venuto. Pictures of someones fridge with military stacked tubs of meals for the week! Now, I have always been inclined to prepare meals in advance and bring them with me the next day, but am always looking for ways to save time and money.

For example, I buy bags of frozen berries, pouches of flax seed and bulk buy whey protein. Added with water, I make a couple of berry/protein drinks every evening and bring them to work with me. This week I also made a big pot of brown rice, and each evening I use this to make up a quick meal of brown rice, flax seed and tune to bring with me the following day.

I also buy bags of frozen fish, brocolli and spinach so evening meals are quick and easy to get ready.

Does anyone have any other super time/money saving tips? I am trying to squeeze the most out of my week as possible!

    :D

Do you mind me asking where you buy your berries? I usually buy in Aldi, think it's 500g for €1.99.

a slow cooker, brown your meat, throw it in with veg and stock (frozen veg is ok) and go to work/pub when you're back you'll have a meal ready.

its great for the tougher (cheaper) cuts of meat. so will help with the weekly bills and save you some time.

Tesco do them for €2 a bag as well.
