I know this is the middle class coming out in me but there's nothing that sets off my must avoid alert quicker than someone with tattoos.
It's an instant marker as to whether I will like someone or not.

Now I've conservative views & would probably be considered a borderline bigot so I want to know if any of your normal folk react the same.

I only look down on short people.

I don't mind em as long as they can be covered with a long sleeved shirt or whatever when needs be.

I don't get those highly visable neck tattoos, can't be good for job interviews etc.

This thread has been done so many times I'm going to shake it up a bit and give an opposite answer.

They're the scum of the earth those who choose tattoos. If I were a business owner I wouldn't hire one. If a person with a tattoo had a child I'd ring child services. People with tattoos don't deserve to own a HD TV. They're reptiles beneath their skin. I hear they transform at night and drink the souls of orphans. Scary movies are pornos to them. They break into people's houses and steal their door knobs. They know how they put the fig into fig rolls but won't tell anyone, because they're scum of the earth!

    Shady characters, indeed.

I don't think class comes into it, a lot of posh people have "ink" too. English girls seem to have tattoos on their feet quite often, like funny writing etc, did this catch on in Ireland?

I don't know how it came up in conversation but was talking to someone one day who said something along the lines of "A person with a tatoo shouldn't be allowed work in a bank. How can you trust someone with a tatoo". Deadly serious they were too

Typical middle class spanner, no appreciation of art and an inflated view of their own social standing.
