Just came across this website which tracks most (but not all) flights in the air at any one time. I thought some people might find it interesting.

I am just curious as to what you think is the connection to that with chemtrails/contrails etc?

Airplanes make contrails. Some people think they are "chemtrails". This site shows where most of the planes in the sky are, what type of planes they are, and where they are going.

Is there actually anything solid to this theory apart from people thinking that the contrails from jet engines "look like" the plane is spraying something?

Not really. But hopefully this tool will enable people to check up the ID of suspicious planes that are flying over their neighbourhoods. 'A mysterious black plane' seen from the ground will turn out to be the British Airways 8.15 flight from London to New York, and so forth.

Theres a app for phones that you can point your phone camera at the sky and it'll tell you what planes are near by, what speed, altitude, etc..

Nothing new about these kind of sites at all.

In Australia I believe its compulsary to have all flight info available to the public so the app works really well here.

    'A mysterious black plane'
Or will remain mysterious as not all aircraft show up due to their level of technology, or the operator has had them blocked for security reasons.

But where does this idea of Chemtrails come from? Having crawled all over the aircraft that i fly, I cannot find any special chemical container :) The only aircraft that i have ever seen spreading chemicals were "cloud seeding" to cause rain, obviously not in Ireland.

I love that App. The pro version sends an alert any time an emergency call is made from any aircraft on it. It then shows that plane in red.
Its amazing how often these call come in . Sometimes 2 or 3 in a day,

The amount of planes in the air at one time is mental. How there arent more mid air crashes/near misses, I dont know.

And thats not them all. There are still areas that are not covered.

Remember that they are operating in 3 dimensions, not 2. So planes going - say - East to West will fly at - say - 30,000 feet and planes flying West to East will fly at 31,000 feet. Even if they happen to be on the exact same line, they will still be a minimum of 1000 feet apart.

But yeah, I was amazed by the volume too. And that's not even all the planes.
