Here's a snapshot of this guys stats:

Is he just off to a slow start or is this guy in decline? Was his huge season the exception to the rule?

I think he peaked during the 2000+ yds season. But that took a huge toll on his body. Last season it was the fault of the hold-out according to most fans/experts but so far after 2 games it really doesn't seem to be the case. His stock is falling fast.

    What are your opinions?

Read this morning that average contact on him occurs 1.1 yards behind the line of scrimmage and that he is averaging 1.2 yards after contact. While he might be part of the problem he's not the only problem with the run game

The amount of carries he received in 09 and 10 are the problem IMO. Its madness to give any back over 300 carries a season today, let alone a sub 200 lbs back. Tack on the receptions he got also and it cant be any surprise his production has drastically declined last season. No way his frame could take that much punishment and not suffer from burn out. The O-Line is certainly not aiding his cause, but its not the main reason for his decline.

Its a shame because on his day, he was one of the most exciting players in the league.

Isnt he still getting the majority of the carries, which means they're abandoning the run and not CJ. Shows they appreciate the problem is with the O line as much as with CJ.

Hoping he bounces back from slow start. Locker playing hurt is surely holding him back.

With Kendall Wright, Kenny Britt and Nate Washington and Jared Cook they should have the ability to stretch D's and open holes for CJ2K to get back to his best.

Read somewhere that last season that he led the league in runs of 15yards or more so he clearly still possesses the same burst as always. I wouldn't give up on him yet

(I drafted him in the 1st round of 1 draft and he was my highest cost player in an auction draft!!)

As above he isnt the player he was but the o line is not helping him at all letting him get tackled for losses all the time
