New windows fitted - What do i need to look for?

Hey folks,

I'm getting new windows and doors fitted on the house this week which should be finished on Friday.
Now, before final payment is made can I ask for some advice on what to check/look out for on job completion before I pay up.

Your obviously confident in the fitter as you have given him the job all ready.

Just make sure your happy with silicone out side on the walls are properly finished inside with the plaster. Also make sure there opening and closeing properly

Well they're a reputable company.

Just want ensure everything is spot on and that I don't miss something that someone with a bit more knowledge was spot immediately.

If there a good company why do you need to check up on them hold some money till you get your invoice so you have time to look at them yourself.

Be straight with the guys and insure they understand that you want them to be exactly the same.

Make sure all the trickle vents ( if u have requested them ) are installed on the windows and safety catches on the upstairs
