    Hi

Not sure right place so please move if not.

Ok so have a week to make a big decision and not sure what way to decide. Doing a accounts technician course and in my second year. Have secured a place in a plc college which is only 2 and a half days so plenty of time for home study. Also got offered a place with Fas for four and a half day will get extra 120 a week allowing for fuel and all that.

My question is which will look better on my cv? Saying I was in Fas or a plc college. Or do my results speak for themselves. I am planning to continue on after this year to do a degree in tallaght. So should I go after the short term extra money for next year or the possibility of better career prospects.

Fas outsource contract so independent people will come In to train us. Also the extra money could go after budget more then likely

Are both the exact same qualification?

Some employers will steer away from anyone with FAS on their CV because they see it as an unemployed person regardless of circumstances but it shouldn't be an issue with most employers. So the only difference is the money and 2 extra days?

Yes both the same qualification will have to go rds to do exams no matter which place I choose. That's what I'm afraid of putting Fas on cv after scandal few years ago of people passing test who shouldn't. In saying that I can get away with just saying my qualification as there will be no record on it that I done it with fas

No employer will care where or how you studied as the exams are externally examined. Good luck.

Thanks for reply just such a hard decision to make as I'm able for home study as did a lot last year and my lowest grade was 76% so crumlin would suit me better as I found I got bored in Fas last year as they dragged the day out so we'd stay till four when we would of been done by 1.
