Sorry not really sure where to post this so please move it if it's in the wrong place mods :).

I was working for around 7 weeks during the summer and I'm now trying to get my emergency tax back, do i just bring my P45 and P50 up to the tax office? If so how long will it take to get the emergency tax back? Thanks in advance :-)

    depends

my advice is to get into the tax office tomorrow, sporting a balaclava and a hunting rifle - go to hatch 8 and yell your demands to him or her behind the counter - get the cash and sprint, till eventually you are mauled by garda dogs , when being dragged for a beating in the cells start screaming " it was my money garda - i just didn't want to fill out the forms "

    works every time

Might be too much of a serious and correct answer for here but...

Just ring them and ask them to refund it for you. Will just take a minute and is just a matter of a mouse click for them.
