I thought that was great! Very clever ending as neither look particularly weak, and punk got to be the heel at the end!

anyone else hoping punk would do a stunner instead of a rock bottom? :p

Yeah thats exactly what I was thinking he was going to do.

Such a great match. The ending will piss some off but I thought it was near perfect in terms of how it builds for next month and was brilliant to hear the iwc take a collective shít when Cena 'won'.
I think that was the best of their matches so far, surpassing their MITB match last year by miles.

IC match was decent, but felt like filler. Although much better than the usual Brodus or Ryberg squash match.

Kane & Bryan the highlight of the night, the longer they keep the belts on them the better. And the backstage segment was the icing on the cake. Very attitudinal.

Divas result was no real surprise, you knew Eve was getting a shot soon, just thought they might wait til the next ppv. Not a bad match compared to some others (*cough* KellyKelly *cough*).

Would have preffered a more credible opponent for Cesaro, but they were unlikely to take the belt off him so soon, so best not to bury anyone of significance. A bit of a meh match, belonged on RAW.

Good solid match from Ziggler as always, but stupid to have Orton bury him, Orton is over enough already. They're taking away the credibility of Ziggler as champ if he cashes in successfully.

Sheamus-Bertie was about as good as it good as it could be, Alberto saved it from being a snoozefest, but hopefully the fued is over.

Punk and Cena always work well, and this was no exception. It was never going to match either of last year's matches, largely due to lack of hype, but the screwy finish did it's job in forwarding the storyline. One step closer to Punk & Brock Vs Rock & Cena at Survivor Series.

    6/10 overall

Honestly, I went into this PPV not expecting much, but it was a lot better than I had thought it would be.

Hugely enjoyable. Genuinely laughed at the "IM the tag team champions stuff". Kane and Bryan have great chemistry!

Punk and Cena was great. These guys know each other so well and put on great matches/promos. Im glad its continuing with Punk as champ. I wonder how heyman and lesnar(?) will play into it.

So sick of Seamus and Del Rio at this stage, turn Randy heel and let him go against Seamus.

Ziggler once again looking the part but not getting the win, its a slow push, even though he is losing, he is moving up the ladder so to speak.

Miz was being put over big time by JBL which was nice to see, glad to see him retain, hes a good man to have the belt, he can talk and hes not too bad in the ring.

Do not care about the rest.

great show, second best wwe ppv this year after extreme rules, not a bad match on the card, even the preshow battle royale had some good spots and meant something

punk and cena again stole the show, those two were just made for each other, ziggler was super over, they really need to start giving him (and bryan) some major wins because both of those could be superstars if given the ball, have to say really enjoyed the opener

At what stage do we stop calling Sheamus vs Del Rio a feud, and instead label it what it is; Sheamus bullying Del Rio and making him his bitch continuously.

Del Rio isn't even being protected by screwy finishes half the time. And given the next PPV is HiaC, we're likely going to see Sheamus murder him again next month....

Really good show, gave it a 7, probably would've been a little higher had Punk/Cena not seemed a little too familiar. Not that it really needs to be said but Cole and JBL are just a really great combo. Miles better than any of the other announcing teams around today.

Wasn't impressed with the Punk and Cena finish, they have built a scenario where you can't believe either one could beat the other cleanly. I can see a scenario at HIAC where either Cena FUs Punk through/off the cell (and how likely is that given how sanitised the product is) or Lesnar interferes on behalf of Punk.

More of a chance of the latter it'd be lethal dangerous to go through or off the current Cell. Never bothered ordering it but did JBL shout "Ballgame" anytime last nite?

I'd say the next Cena Punk match will have them do each other's finishers, since they both start out the same anyway.

Like Kane and Bryan together. How long til we get a good quality picture of soaked AJ?! :D

Waiting on a face turn for Ricardo. Just gets fed up with Bertie. If only Bertie had a Million Dollar belt he could challenge him for. :)

Not sure if Eve was the one who attacked Kaitlyn, a least not directly. May have ordered it but how'd she get from there to talking to PTP?

Glad Miz won. As always, he's awesome!

With the US title matche being on the preshow for Summerslam and Ryder winning last night's preshow, I think from now on the preshow should actually be for the Internet title.

Brilliant main event. Loved how the commentators mentioned they threw everything at each other and they can't be separated near the end, then for it to be followed up by the draw.

I was amazed they were able to improve on previous matches. No stipulations or Gimmicks needed. No weapons or exposed turnbuckles, ref bumps, smashing of spanish announce tables. Just really good wrestling.

This is possibly a better feud than Cena and Orton had where we got the I quit and Ironman matches.

Hell in a Cell seems a good way to settle this one.

6 - Not bad, but could have been a lot better
The only match I watched in full was the main event and the ending pissed me off as a basic wrestling rule was ignored. Cena initiated the move, Cena was on offence, Cena was in control, Cena was pinning Punk, Punk however was not pinning Cena. Therefore, Cena wins. It really is that simple but it was ignored to continue the feud. A double pin only works if both men are pinning each other, that wasnt the case last night. Aside from the ending, it was a pretty good match. The chants of "this is awesome" was a little much though. It wasnt THAT good. The addition of Heyman looks more pointless than ever now as he did literally nothing during the match. His face when Cena dived through the ropes however, was brilliant.

In other bits that I watched I have concluded that WWE are hell bent on killing any chance Del Rio has of being a main eventer in the future. Loss after loss after loss to the same guy just makes him look like a joke. I dont even like Del Rio and I feel bad for him. The re-addition of the Brogue Kick just before the bell was retarded too. They spent the past few weeks building up the idea that Sheamus would have to find another way to win only to backtrack at the last second. It makes Sheamus look over-reliant on the Brogue Kick if it's the only way he can win. Also the fact that he goes for it 300 times per match makes him look even more reliant on it.

Glad Cesaro retained. I hope he can have a long title reign and get over a good amount before dropping the title. It's a shame he was only been allowed defend against crap thus far. Team Friendship look like the new AJ Lee and are going to be run into the ground. Just like AJ, it will get old quickly if they overexpose it.

Heel Eve is so hot :D Shame Kaitlyn is an abysmal actress and made that scene with her injury look so bad. Eve vs Layla was good enough for Diva standards and Eve will make a far better champion than happy and smiley Layla. The only time Layla was ever interesting was as a part of LayCool. Before and since, she has been very forgettable.

Decent enough show but not a whole lot more. Nothing to go out of your way to see, but also nothing to go out of your way to avoid.

Fatal Four way was a decent opener, good finish to it.
Kane and Daniel were entertaining and work well together, interesting to see what will happen with them now.
Orton and Ziggler was a very good match.
    jbl was excellent on commentary.
Sheamus and del rio was the same as usual.
Great main event, I was calling Cena's shoulders on the mat straight away and looking at where the ref was going to make sure he called it. Also plenty of good false finishes though Cena running around straight after the count annoyed me. Interesting to see exactly what role Heyman is going to have with Punk.
Probably should have given Vince my euros last night, thought it was the best ppv since Extreme Rules.

I thought it was an excellent show, very entertaining from top to bottom.

I thought the main event was a brilliant bout. I didn't mind the ending at all, in fact, I kind of liked it. It brings a lot of heat onto Punk and also opens up the space for a rematch. The only thing I didn't like were the amount of near falls. It just became a bit of an overkill near the end.

I also liked the World title match and the Orton/Ziggler match. Both matches were much better than I thought they'd be.

The main event and the divas match(can't believe I'm saying this) were very good. Kane and Bryan work well together, the rest of the show was forgettable.

This was probably WWE's best show this year so far. No filler, every match had meaning, plenty of time and felt important. I don't see why people are so pissed about Ziggler losing and calling it a "burial". He'd be buried if he was squashed completely or got hardly any offence in. He had a back and forth match and lasted for 18 minutes in there, taking Orton to his limit. Remember that Orton is a multi-time world champion so him losing clean all of a sudden wouldn't be the right call to make

Sheamus and Del Rio's feud needs to be over. Sheamus is a great champion but he needs a new opponent whom winning would benefit the division. I think his next challenger will be the one to dethrone him and it should be someone new

Zack Ryder winning the battle royal was a smart decision. He's super over so this was a nice way to get Cesaro some heat instead of just a random challenger getting a one-shot deal. I want to see Ted DiBiase get the next push for the title, he really needs it

Kane and Bryan should add some colour to the tag division though I get the feeling Rey Rey and Sin Cara will be knocking on their door very soon

Layla and Eve prove that there is the possibility for good competitive matches from the women not named Beth Phoenix or Natalya, Layla continues to be one of the best model-turned-wrestlers WWE has produced in recent years

I liked the ending of Cena/Punk. WWE would be stupid not to have them go at it at Hell In A Cell so this was the perfect way to set that match up without putting Cena over too early. Having either win the match cleanly would do nothing for either of them since we're so used to Cena pretty much getting the title straight away whenever he chases for it. Now we can see him really go after it. And hey he actually did a different move to finish it
