    hi there, im just wondering if any of ye know where i can get the new norna onix bullets in the athlone area. or if any of ye have used them. thanks

    I think you meant Norma Oryx .... A bonded bullet that expands rapidly, so penetration is similar to a conventional soft point bullet, but the Oryx retains around 80-100% of its initial weight, depending on the impact velocity.
    It is IMO an excellent cartridge.

    yes sorry. mis spelling. i use hornady superformance in 95gr sst but my brothers rifle wont group them and found that it has no problem with the norma.

    Sorry not in Athlone but John Lambert in Camolin,Wexford generally has some Norma ammo. What calibre ? 243?

    The Oryx as previously stated are an excellent bullet.

    Crescent Sports in Mokstown,Co.Dublin stock them also.

    thanks sika98k. are they better than the soft points do you think. they 15 euro a box dearer so they would want to be.
