Lemania 3060

Recently took possession of my Dad's Lemania (3060 Caliber movement) which came with a centre sweep second hand (not on the watch now) and date complication in the 3 O'Clock position. Watch was bought new in the late fifties and is keeping relatively good time - losing circa 60 secs per day.

Upon inspection, it seems that there is a damaged wheel in the movement which requires replacing.

    Questions -

Watch Repairs.Ie advised that they don't look at pieces older than 30 years - who will?(I have emailed Tullys in Loughrea this afternoon and am awaiting response).

How likely am I to find original parts without buying a donor watch?

I really like this watch and as it was worn by my Dad all his life (He is still alive just refuses to wear a watch now that he is retired) it is one I will spend money on to repair and will keep until I retire.

    Thoughts, comments and tips appreciated.

    G
