Hoping people can give me some advice suggestions...

I was volunteering in Thailand, and the place I was volunteering, I want to make a donation. Its about e500.

I obv couldnt carry that amount of money on me there, so I though, when I get back I would be able to transfer it to their general account (western head on me though "oh will be no problem"), but its not as easy as it seems.

I dont think they've ever received an international donation before. They dont seem to understand the numbers/details that I need.

Am wondering, do I have any other options? Any advice?

    You could try Western Union

    Go to westernunion.com

Do a direct to bank account transfer. It should only require the local bank details that you have already. Then it should cost around €20

    hi,

    Try currency.ie
I have been using it for ages; they will charge you 10 euros fee but the exchange rates will be better.
