Can I collect social welfare on sat/day

    Can you collect your social welfare from post office on sat/day?

    When do you normally collect it? If it's Wednesday/Thurs/Fri then yes you can.
    Otherwise you're taking a risk if it's on a Tuesday since it only gets held for three days officially.

    It's a wednesday normally but I've been with my family down the country and unable to collect, when I googled it people said it was sent back on a Friday evening, maybe il ring post office in morning

    Yeah you can get it. I did it once or twice when I was sick.

    Even if you did miss it, you just go down and explain you weren't able to get the post office.

    Payment would still be there on a Saturday. Remember PO only open for half-day on Saturday.
