    Fitting a solenoid valve to a loader does anybody know how to wire this up thanks.

    It might be better get an electrician to do it if you're not sure. A lot of tractors go up in smoke from faulty wiring.

    Do you have solenoids already on the tractor? Have you a joystick or just a switch to work the solenoid.

    In simple terms, you need to pick up the (+) terminal of the battery, through a fuse, then a switch, then one of the connections on the solenoid (+, if marked). The other connection on the solenoid can be wired to the main body of the tractor (the ground). Make sure the wire is heavy enough, has proper connections and the fuse is rated just above the rating of the solenoid. It's the wire from the battery to the fuse that is the most dangerous. If this gets frayed there is no fuse to protect it and you could have a fire.
    I'm not suggesting, you wire directly to the battery, BTW.
