bipod size

    hi lads just a quick question what size bipod do you think is best its going on a cz 22. it will only be used for rabbits and fox and bit of bench rest in the club , i was looking at the blackhawk bipods so what would be best size a 6 to 9 inch or 9 to 13 inch thanks

    6-9 will be useless if there is any rough ground or high grass, good for bench work though

    9-13 is pretty common and would be my choice. Its still low enough to be steady and on 13 it clears most grass.

    13-23 is good for fields with high grass or rough ground although I find it harder to stay steady when leaning up so high. The advantage of 23 is that you can shoot from sitting down of kneeling.

    9-13 would be my choice anyway.

    id advise using shooting stick altogether but everyone to themselves
    you can make rest for shooting off benches easily
    the only thing that gets in your way using sticks is a ditch

    I would agree with this I have the 9-13 on the .22 and 13-23 on the .270 and find them the right size for the guns but go for the swivel one it'll be worth the few extra bob.

    9-13 is the better all rounder.
