Put a large dollop of Deep Heat on your head - then place a helmet on top of that (ideally two sizes too small for your head) - you should be fine then! ;)

I'm hitting the bed with a lemsip with a large spoon of honey. Going to wrap up well and have a dry tshirt by the bed if I wake up soaked in sweat. Not going to miss my big spin tomorrow.

    You will!

A simple piece of advice I've managed to remember is that if the symptoms are above the neck, you're good to go. You may not feel great but exercise won't do any harm and may even offer temporary relief.

I've a head cold at the moment too and don't feel in the humour for much more than a sedate, erm, tootle. But I'd still prefer to cycle than drive.

So yes, on yer bike and away with yourself.

Had a head cold last week and wanted to go for a cycle also had the same thoughts as above. should I or not.

Went in the end. Didn't do anything special. 33k in 1 hour 44 min http://app.strava.com/rides/20827639 came home with a clear head.

Within 5 minutes of walking in the door it clogged right back up again! But I enjoyed my cycle.

Cheers, Went well. Nodded off very quickly after the Lemsip, woke about 2am drenched in sweat. Flipped the pillow and changed the Tshirt. Didn't sleep well for the rest of the night but woke up at 6.30am and the head was clear as day.
That will be fifty quid. :pac:

sometimes when you have a bit of a cold, going out and getting locked wll sort it out and sometimes it will make it ten times worse. same goes for cycling.
