Anybody had much success with the sceery no. 1 elk call as a sika call?

Jwshooter used one years ago to call a picket in for me. I decided to go and buy one today and was planning on giving it a bash in the morning.

Any hints or tips for using one?

Not sure that's too sporting! I actually think it is not allowed.

Electronic calls aren't allowed. Manual calls are fine.

The sporting issue is a matter of opinion.

Its sporting to sit in a seat above the ground and shoot a deer as it walks out in front of you but not to try and call a deer into you using a caller :confused:

I used a sceery doe elk call no.2 it was very effective until I lent it to somebody and never got it back. I guess that tells how good it was. Where did you buy it?
