    hi,
i would like to get a AUX adapter for my honda accord.
the adapter i want to buy from ebay is for pioneer stereo
i would like to know the manufacturer of the standard stereo on the car.
how easy is it to check this?
the manufacturer details is not available in the manual.

it is the standard OEM stereo with no navigation.
google suggests honda changed the stereo manufacturer in and around 2006

It's a unit made by Alpine.

If you want an Aux in you'll need to get an xcarlink - it's not a straightforward aux-in (e.g. line-in). Advantage of these units is that you can control your iPOD , USB , etc with the steering controls.

You can get these units here:

    +1 on this
I have xcarlink on my Honda, and it works well. I use 8GB SD cards, and radio read it as CD.

The only problem is installation - you need to disasembly most of the middle panel and remove ash tray and that second large "pocket" above ash tray.
It took me 20 minutes to do all the work.

    hi,
sorry for the delay in responding.
i have attached the radio in my car.
does anyone know which model is this?
is it pioneer or any other?

i am thinking of buying a basic aux adapter (not the one with usb/sd card slot)
