Just wondering if someone can confirm the following Irish Coast Guard helicopter bases. Just putting together a SAR list of AIS tags of aircraft, Coast Guard vessels and Lifeboats.

    Dublin

    EI-CXS

    Sligo

    EI-MES

    Waterford

    EI-RCG
    EI-SAR

    Shannon

    EI-ICG
    EI-GCE

If its any help to you, I saw the new helicopter flying at low level over Cork City yesterday, usually the Waterford units cover this area.

    Sligo EI RCG/ EI CZN.

    Shannon EI ICG.

EI MES now retired and out of country.

Sligo's EI-CZN was in Castlebar at the GMIT this afternoon for 2 hours,it did a demo, winching etc etc....it was excellent and windy weather made it all the more interesting. It departed back to Sligo at 1800hrs.
