    I just put a few cows in and weaned there calves off them. I don't have much grass left. I was wondering is it to soon to leave them weanling's in there getting silage and meal?? what do use think??

    Housed 'em 5 oct last year, noticed a few of them a little tender on their feet about the 3 week mark but they hardened up and not a bother on 'em.
    If I had to choose I'd keep the cows out as long as I could.

    they were born last feb. They are already over the weaning part of it im jus wondering would they be better to let them out or leave them in

    I'd be inclined to agree leave a them out, and with a bit of meal.

    Id leave them out for 2 or 3 weeks after weaning if i could.Less problems and better thrive.
