So far, I think I've learned that I'm to buy from a SIMI garage and get AA cover.

They have SIMI on it  talking about the problems (facing them).

I imagine SIMIs response would be that all UK imports are stolen and clocked and the only sure way to guarantee a genuine car is to buy a new one from their dealers and that the government must bring back the scrappage scheme to eliminate consumers being duped by these thefts.

This would make sense as brand new cars won't be stolen and won't need parts....

    And the bull continues.

I'm so startled. I'm only buying new cars from now on, but only if it doesn't have 13 on the plates like.

The amount of bullcrap in that programme actually exceeded my (already high) expectations.

From the fairy tales the scum were spouting to the nonsense Conor Faughnan was coming out with, the whole thing was a joke from start to finish.

Ah TV3...tabloid scaremongering: It felt like a massive advertisement for AA/SIMI while at the same time blackballing UK imports...

...I expected nothing less tbh

Usual low-budget TV3 crap, I gave up after 5 minutes.

I actually stopped watching it, put on rogue traders/watchdog on BBC instead, they were outing some dodgy dealer. Way better.

Recorded the tv3 thing alright, may with it again sometime
