I need advice on what would be a stylish/fashionable haircut to get for my wedding that coming very soon. I noramlly just ask for a blade three at the sides and a tidy up on top. What sort of a haircut is fashionable that I could ask my barber to do. Thanks.

I know sod all about fashionable haircuts but even those that do won't be able to advise you because not all cuts are suitable for all hair types.

Best bet here is to talk to your barber about it. If you go to an old-school place maybe make the effort to go to one of the upmarket stylists and ask them what they can do with it.

I went to a proper upscale barber shop near grafton st for my wedding haircut - cost about 30 quid but was worth it for the occasion. Lots of deal offers for those type of places nowadays too. They will advise you what will suit and make you look your best!

I recommend that you do a trial run before the big day if you are getting something other than the usual... you don't want to find out you hate it or it looks awful in photo's on the big day.

Make a booking for awhile in advance (long enough to fix it if it all goes wrong), leave time to talk to the barber during this visit, get it done, go home, ask OH and others what they think, take some quick pictures, sleep on it, take pictures again.... Once all of that is done there wont be any nasty suprises on the day, also means that on the day it shouldnt take too long.

    IMHO :
The best styles are ones which are not associated with fads (not saying that stylish means fad). You will be looking at the photo's for the rest of your life. You don't want to look at them in X years and have to justify that "it was the style back then".
