    Hi lads

    heading to Kilkenny city next month for the brothers stag, can anyone recommend a b'n'b/hotel/guesthouse that is central to stay in

    The Halal store in Irishtown is quite good, just by the traffic lights. Another one on the top of john street across from Billy Byrnes

    Yeah I love the Royal Spice, but I think all the indian takeaways/restaurants in Kilkenny are decent enough.

    Royal Spice is daycent. Take aways take ages though... like maybe half an hour..

    actually that's probably a good sign.

    its always a good sign when they take a while. me and the wife were waiting about 45 for an indian takeaway in tralee a couple of weeks ago, it was amazing when we ate it.
    we went out to a chinese and the food came in less than 5 minutes, that is one of the reasons why i hate chinese
