Gives out all the right signals again. No listed among SIPTU's Fair Hotels list either. 'Labour' party my hole. Does no one in the party consider how this looks???

I doubt people think it's an issue to be honest. The price difference for a conference at a 5* hotel and a 4* hotel is hardly going to be that much, and a hotel with a lower rating is unlikely to have the facilities to deal with such an event. I doubt that the people of Maynooth and the staff at the hotel in question are complaining about delegates spendign money in the locality. I fail to see the big deal anyway.

Hopefully very soon the party will be consigned to the dustbin of history thus joining the disgraced PDs and the shambolic Greens.
some of the younger members are making noises all right regarding the stance of the party on many issues (or rather worried that they will not be re-elected.)
the older clowns dont seem to worry too much as they know they will walk away with fat pensions and lump sums regardless, just as the rats that abandoned the sinking ship that was Fianna Fail before the last election.
    Some things never change.;)

Thread doesn't really meet the forum requirements for opening posts. If the OP wants to expand a bit more pm me and it might get reopened.
