Just to let anyone know outthere thats interested in joining a club or just getting a feel for cycling that Clonee Wheelers will be organising a programme of spins in the next few months. These spins are aimed at beginners and the intention is to give introduction to group cycling and help beginners build up their skills and abilities. There will be designated group leaders with experience taking charge of the groups on each spin. Spins will probably be in region of 35-40km with plans to build up gradually to 70-80km at average speed of approx 20 -25kph fitness levels permitting.Clonee wheelers is mainly a leisure club doing sportifs , cycle events and charity cycles with some members who participate in open races, but the main aim is to get everyone involved cycling at a level that suits them and that they enjoy.
    Cyclists from all areas welcome.

I went out with two guys (Colin and Peter) for a spin a couple of months ago (a Tuesday evening if I recall) , twas an open invite, and have not been able to get the schedules to line up since, Peter was a mine of valuable info and tips. Seriously considering joining as I think I would improve with the group/clubs structure.
