Front door

    Hi

I am looking to replace my front door but not with a new door as I have priced them and they are in or around 1100 euro. My door opening is fairly standard but as there is a fanlight on top of my door the height is off standard. I was wondering is it possible, if I got a door the proper width but a foot shorter in height is it possible to fill in the gap with something else?

    Regards,

    Maggie

Wooden door? How about putting a rail across the top (to complete the frame) and glaze the opening to get some of that light back.
