Looking for a basic laptop for surfing, basic word processing/spreadsheets and emails.

Anyone got any €300 or less recommendations please?

    Many thanks

Your best bet is to have a look around for a net book. You could pick up a low end laptop for about €350. Have a look at pcworld.ie

I'm sure any of these would do the trick. Some are refurbished but I'd imagine they'd be fine

I have been following it since it started. But thought three weeks later the bargains may have moved elsewhere.

UK, but they have a web shop registered in Ireland, so if you're buying from laptopsdirect.ie, you're doing your patriotic duty. :D
