    Apologies if this has been asked before;

    Will be getting new kitchen and three bathrooms done up, so quiet a few taps to buy

    Thinking strongly from buying from UK, Victoria Plumb or similar

    most seem to say Minimum Pressure 0.5 bar

    Am I right in saying , we have 0.2 bar in Ireland

    Will 0.5 suitable taps work ?
    taps will not be used to shower, but will be used in sinks in bathrooms, 2 upstairs and 1 down stair, and of course one in kitchen

    Will be getting separate shower unit, Mira etc

    Thanks

    No they wont. Your right about the pressure. 0.5 is considered high in ireland low in england.

    Even in the kitchen with mains they will only work on cold. The hot will be ****.

    This is the reson irish taps are more expensive. We are backwards with the continent.

    Unless off course you live ina pumped apartment.

    Where is a good place to get a new kitchen mixer tap suitable for low pressure?
    (Dublin or online)
