    Hi all,

Just saw Sigur Ros have announced headline gigs in Europe for Feb/Mar 2013. No Irish date yet. Do you reckon one could be announced? I'll travel to mainland Europe if I have to. I want to see them again.

I would imagine they'll add an Irish date. Surely a big enough following here to fill the grand canal at least.. Well, i'd go anyway! ;)

I'd love it if they did. It'd really cheer me up, as I couldn't get to Electric Picnic, so I've just had to imagine what I'm missing and worry I might not get another chance!

Sigur Ros have posted up about pre-sales for the UK shows and when people asked about an Irish date, they posted the following response:
***** ****** - no irish date on this leg of the tour (feb/mar) - for that reason we let irish fans know about this UK presale if they wanted to fly over.
So no Irish date. Bought our tickets for Glasgow anyway.

ffs. why no Irish date? They'd sell it out.... That's it going to go abroad for them.

They get paid more for Electric Picnic/Oxegen every year. I think that's the only way we have and will see them for the time being.
